Common Questions

  • How can I tell if my insurance will cover windshield repairs?

- Give us a call and we can let you know!

                                      OR

- On the back of your insurance card there will be a special "glass claim" number (or you can look it up online). You can call them and start a claim. You will answer a few questions and then at the end of the call they will let you know if it's covered or not!

If its not, you can cancel the claim. If it is covered, you are free to use any shop you wish! So when they ask if you would like to use Safelite, tell them "NO! I want to use Rocky's Chip Repair!" They will ask for our shop phone number, (720) 206-9893 and then your set!

  • How big can a chip be before it cant be repaired?

-  We can fix anything that is smaller than the size of a dollar bill. If it is larger than that, insurance won't cover it and it might be time to look at a windshield replacement!

  • How long will my repair hold?

- Your repair will hold for life! Not every repair is successful, but we have less than 2% of our repairs fail.

  • Will I see the damage after it is repaired?

Chip repair 3

-  This is a great question. You will still see a mark, or "scarring." This is normal, especially where the glass might have shattered. We fill the crack with resin that holds for a lifetime and shouldn't spread.
